Ali Al Salem Air Base is the main transport hub and gateway for military forces in the West Asia region, playing a key role in the U.S. military’s regional military and logistical strategy.

The U.S. Consulate in Erbil also came under a massive drone attack; the headquarters of separatist groups in Erbil was also targeted, where a major fire broke out.

In addition, Iran attacked the U.S. Harir Air Base, as well as UAE and U.S. gas companies in Erbil.
