U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance announced on July 19 the birth of his fourth child; the boy was named Alec Neil.

“We are delighted to share that our son, Alec Neil Vance, was born this morning. Usha (Vance’s wife) and the baby are healthy and happy, and our children are absolutely thrilled to meet their little brother,” he wrote on social media platform X.

Vance thanked the doctors and staff of Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the White House Medical Unit for their work.
