The Jordanian Armed Forces said that air defense systems intercepted and shot down three missiles launched from Iranian territory after they entered the kingdom’s airspace.

A statement by the Jordanian Armed Forces said that no one was injured as a result of the interception operation, and no material damage was recorded.

"The armed forces continue to monitor the Kingdom’s airspace and maintain operational readiness. They will not hesitate to neutralize any threat affecting the security, sovereignty, and safety of citizens, in accordance with the established rules of engagement," the statement said.
