STEPANAKERT.- Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group refused to visit Stepanakert due to bad weather conditions, Spokesman for Nagorno-Karabakh President David Babayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“It has been heavily raining in Stepanakert for several days. We were lucky to have good weather during Wednesday’s military parade. It is raining today as well,  non-flying weather,” he said.

The Co-Chairs’ trip to Stepanakert and meeting with the Karabakh leadership was scheduled for May 11 but the flight was postponed due to unfavorable weather conditions.   

It is not for the first time that non-flying weather hampers mediators’ visit to Stepanakert.
