We struck two Saudi oil tankers, ENCELA and LAYLIA, using missiles and drones. This was reported by the Yemeni Houthis, according to IRIB.
The first Saudi oil tanker was destroyed in a missile strike off the coast of Yemen, about 70 kilometers north of Yemen’s border. The tanker’s capacity was around 500,000 barrels.
For its part, an official source at the Saudi Press Agency confirmed that the vessel ENCELIA, owned by a Saudi company, was attacked in the Red Sea, causing a fire to break out in the bow section of the ship.
The source said that all crew members are safe.
