The broadcaster claims that the identity of the person allegedly spreading information about the unjustified use of security resources to plan the vice president’s personal trips has been established. According to CNN’s sources, the agency’s internal affairs division is conducting the review, and it is still unclear whether any administrative penalties will be imposed or criminal charges filed.

Earlier, the TV channel MS Now published a report on Secret Service agents’ dissatisfaction with how the vice president is spending government resources allocated to ensure the safety of his family. According to MS Now’s sources, the latest cause for outrage was the politician’s decision to use a military helicopter to take his younger son to golf practice. Some security personnel believe that, compared with previous vice presidents, Vance is making improper use of government resources, the channel notes.
