Amnesty International representative Erika Guevara Rosas called for the arrest of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and for him to be held accountable before the International Criminal Court (ICC), Al Jazeera reports.

“The US authorities must protect human rights and respect the rule of law,” she said.

Earlier, in 2024, the ICC issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu, accusing him of committing war crimes in the Gaza Strip.
