The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) said it had destroyed three U.S. Army ammunition depots in Kuwait and struck an observation tower of the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet in Bahrain. This was stated in a statement by the IRGC press service.

According to the Iranian side, during the 27th phase of retaliatory strikes, three depots containing ammunition and equipment at the U.S. Al-Udeidri base in Kuwait were attacked and, the IRGC claims, destroyed. It was also reported that an observation tower of the U.S. Navy’s 5th Fleet in Bahrain was struck, which, according to Tehran, sustained significant damage.

The latest escalation of the conflict between the United States and Iran began on July 8 after a series of U.S. strikes on the territory of the Islamic Republic. In response, Tehran began carrying out strikes on American facilities in Bahrain, Jordan, Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, and Oman.
