Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu informed members of his cabinet that the United States is insisting on the withdrawal of Israeli troops from Syria, Lebanon, and the Gaza Strip, Channel 13 reported, citing an informed source.

According to the channel’s source, Washington wants the Israel Defense Forces to carry out a “series of pullbacks” on three fronts, though it did not specify whether this means a full or partial troop withdrawal.

At the same time, it is noted that Netanyahu expressed disagreement with this and told his ministers that he intends to resist.

“I will tell them no,” the channel quoted the Israeli prime minister as saying.
