Among the main messages of my recent public activity have been internal solidarity, the unacceptability of dividing the economy into "pro-Russian" and "pro-Western," and the necessity of cross-party cooperation, since no single political force can, on its own, find the best solutions for Armenia in such a complex situation. This is stated in a message from PAP leader Gagik Tsarukyan sent from the Kentron Detention Facility.

"Regardless of all the injustices committed against me and my team, I maintain the same position today. Internal solidarity has no alternative. That is the enemy's dream. I am confident that this understanding will prevail in the near future.

Although I currently have a certain lack of information, I can imagine the serious difficulties our businesspeople across various sectors are facing. What people have built step by step over the years could go down the drain. I support exports from Armenia in various directions — not only to Europe, but also to the Arab world, the US, and elsewhere — but it is impossible to completely change the export market in one day, one month, or even one year.

Entering a new market must be done calmly, skillfully, and patiently — without destroying what came before, without wrecking previous economic ties. Right now we are doing exactly the opposite.

In one of my previous messages, I noted that Azerbaijan is intensively entering the markets we are intensively exiting. After losing traditional markets, it will be extremely difficult to return to former positions, and in some cases simply impossible. Those who live and work in real life know this very well. Those who live in offices don't grasp this.

If we don't take steps today, problems will arise for new sectors tomorrow. And there are steps to take — everything must be done so that Armenian economic actors, Armenian businesspeople, Armenian workers, and Armenian farmers do not face irreversible losses. Unfortunately, I cannot be useful right now with concrete steps, but I assure you that steps and opportunities exist. Businesses and jobs are built over many years, but they can be destroyed in just a few weeks.

I also want to address the employees of enterprises who, for reasons beyond my control, have today been deprived of normal working conditions and found themselves in uncertainty. Your concerns are my concerns, your pain is my pain. It was unimaginable that in one's own country, functioning enterprises could be deliberately harmed, operating businesses shut down, and thousands of working people prevented from going to work — especially when the country is already in a difficult economic situation. But this is our reality. I am confident that justice will be restored, and all of you will return to your regular jobs.

As for cross-party cooperation, this is more a matter of mindset. Armenia truly faces serious challenges. The Iran-US war alone, the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the acute risks to our economy, and Azerbaijan's undisguised ambitions are enough to understand the enormous scale of the risks we face.

Under these circumstances, we need the potential of all capable forces and individuals — from Armenia and the diaspora alike. In such circumstances, what does party affiliation matter, what does party preference matter? We have hundreds of sector specialists who don't want to hear a party's name, but who could bring enormous benefit to our country as professionals and as human beings.

As an Armenian who cares deeply, as a person who has lived and built his entire life in Armenia, I feel the importance of these ideas today more than ever.
