YEREVAN. – We will form a coalition with those political forces which support our President (Serzh Sargsyan) in the presidential elections, Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) member Karine Achemyan said during a press conference on Saturday.

“Any coalition is formed around programs and ideas. We are heading toward presidential elections. We are not constrained; we are the majority [at the Parliament],” she noted.  

With respect to the likelihood of a coalition between the RPA and the Prosperous Armenia Party, Achemyan said there is little time left and that they will know soon.  

In Karine Achemyan’s words, Armenia’s next PM will be appointed as a result of the RPA discussions.
