Britain’s new prime minister, Andy Burnham, met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who had arrived in Britain, aboard the aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth, the BBC reports.

“Volodymyr, you are the first [foreign] leader I am personally receiving after taking office, and that is no coincidence. This is an absolutely clear signal: we are 100% with Ukraine, I personally am 100% with you, and I will fully honor all the commitments to Ukraine that our country has undertaken,” Burnham said.

The Ukrainian president said the delegations discussed measures to protect Ukraine in the air and at sea, as well as the development of joint military production.

In addition, Zelensky thanked Britain for transferring electronic warfare technology to Ukraine. The British press had previously reported, citing the government, that Ukraine would receive a license for the Stone Cloak EW system, which is designed to protect drones from detection, and Andy Burnham later officially announced it himself.
