The world's largest shipping company, Maersk, has introduced an additional fee of $1,000 per container for the passage of any vessels through the Strait of Hormuz. This is stated in a statement by the Danish company.
In addition, a special tariff (from $1,800 to $3,800) has been introduced for the urgent transportation of cargo to the ports of Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE, and Oman.
