The European Union recognizes the inevitability of a deep economic crisis in Armenia if Yerevan leaves the EAEU, the press bureau of the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) reports.

“According to information received by the SVR, Brussels recognizes the inevitability of a deep economic crisis in Armenia if Yerevan ends up outside the Eurasian Economic Union. It is emphasized that the loss of income from participation in Eurasian integration will not make it possible, at the expense of EAEU members, to ensure the stability of the Armenian authorities ‘rowing’ toward the EU,” the SVR statement says.
