Many consider today’s situation in connection with the EAEU and the Russian market a crisis, but I consider it an opportunity, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at the Cabinet meeting of the Armenian government on Thursday.
He pointed to the need to grow high-value crops on normative agricultural lands in Armenia.
Pashinyan added that the Armenian authorities are constantly sending signals to economic entities that economic ties should be diversified.
“Diversification has not taken place mainly for one reason: because going down the path of diversification means going down the path of enhancing efficiency, productivity, and standards,” the Armenian premier noted.
