Accordingly, the September Brent crude oil futures fell $1.70 (1.91%) to $87.33 a barrel on the ICE Futures stock exchange in London. On Thursday, Brent had fallen $1.71 (1.88%) to $89.03 a barrel.
And the WTI crude oil futures for September delivery dropped $1.75 (2.09%) to $81.84 a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX). In the previous trading session, its price had fallen $0.87 (1.03%) to $83.59 a barrel.
