Employees of the Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia have deported 55 foreigners in recent days, the press service of the ministry reports.

Accordingly, citizens of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Egypt, India, Iraq, Pakistan, Russia, Sudan, Somalia, Thailand, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and several other countries have been deported from Georgia.

Also, these individuals have been banned from entering Georgia again.

Georgia has been actively fighting illegal migrants in recent times. The country’s parliament has tightened migration legislation, simplifying the procedures for deportation, as well as the search of migrants.

Every month, the Georgian interior ministry reports on the deportation of dozens of foreign nationals.
