YEREVAN. – As of February 2012, the number of bank cards in Armenia was 1 million 20 thousand, the March bulletin of Armenia’s Central Bank states.
For the first time the number of bank cards passed over one million.
In February 2012, transactions worth of AMD 63.5 billion were carried out. Compared to January, card transactions increased by 28.7 percent.
