The second meeting of the Armenia-Turkey joint working group on reconstruction of the historic Ani bridge between the two countries was held in Yerevan Tuesday, Armenpress reports

During the meeting, the parties emphasized the importance of the protocol signed in Yerevan on May 4 on the joint restoration of the historic Ani bridge.

Also, the parties agreed to continue their efforts aimed at the earliest implementation of the signed protocol.

Armenia and Turkey signed a memorandum of understanding on the restoration of Ani bridge on May 4 within the framework of the 8th summit of the European Political Community in Yerevan. The memorandum signing ceremony took place within the framework of the first meeting of the working group on reconstruction of Ani bridge.
