BAKU. – A new earthquake hit Azerbaijan’s Zaqatala Region. The shaking was recorded on Sunday evening and 14 kilometers southwest of Zaqatala City, Azerbaijan’s Meteorological Center informed 1news.az.
The tremor measured magnitude 3.5 on the Richter scale and its hypocenter was 10 beneath the surface.
But the seismic activity was not felt.
To note, a powerful earthquake had struck southwest of Zaqatala City on May 7, but no casualties were reported.
