If the data on obstacles for Armenian brandy exporters to Russia are confirmed, the law enforcement agencies will deal with this issue, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated at Thursday’s press briefing.

Taking into account that among the co-owners of Luding there are citizens of the Republic of Armenia, the authorities intend to check the allegations of possible artificial obstacles by the large alcohol importer for Armenian brandy exporters to the Russian market, Pashinyan said.

According to him, at the moment the Armenian government does not have any confirmed data in this regard, but the sectoral structures will study the received report in detail.

“I do not yet have the details of this information, but I will definitely check. And if the facts are confirmed, the law enforcement agencies will invite these people for a conversation,” the premier of Armenia noted.

Pashinyan emphasized that the Armenian state is ready to strictly prevent any illegal actions and schemes that hinder the normal activities of domestic exporters and producers.
