The ban on the import of most Armenian goods to Russia has not affected the stores’ assortments in the country in any way.
The Information and Analytical Center "Aktsent" has calculated that Armenian imports to Russia have been quickly replaced by Georgian ones—and partly by Azerbaijani ones.
Accordingly, the export of Azerbaijani goods to Russia in January-June increased by 3%, exceeding $608 million. For comparison, during the same period, imports to Russia from Georgia amounted to $332 million, and from Armenia—$1.2 billion.
