On August 13 in Beijing, the leadership of China's CCTV Video News Agency (CCTV+) met with a delegation from Armenia's NEWS.am, led by Deputy Chief Editor Narine Hovhannisyan. Following the meeting, the two sides signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) aimed at deepening bilateral cooperation.

Under the Global South Media Partners initiative, NEWS.am and CCTV+ agreed to expand collaboration in three key areas: content exchange, personnel training, and technology empowerment.

It is worth noting that CCTV Video News Agency (CCTV+) is China's leading video news agency, which began operations in December 2010. The agency offers news products and services in line with international standards to global media organizations via its own online Global Distribution System, as well as through cooperation with world-leading distributors of professional news content. CCTV+'s clients include more than 1,800 TV channels and 1,000 digital media platforms in more than 130 countries and regions. The agency belongs to the state-owned China Central Television network and broadcasts in six languages, covering stories from all over the world in more than 70 countries, reporting on politics, finance, society, science, and other spheres both within China and abroad.
