Informal summit of the CIS leaders may contribute to the continuation of dialogue on the Karabakh issue, said Russian expert Innokenty Adyasov, RIA Novosti reports.

“The format of an informal summit opens up a great opportunity to bring closer positions of Ilahm Aliyev and Serzh Sargsyan. It is clear that the Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders are ready for mediatory efforts of Vladimir Putin,” said Adyasov who is a member of the expert council of the State Duma Committee for CIS Affairs.

Informal CIS summit will be held in Kremlin on Tuesday and will follow the CSTO session. Deepening of economic integration in the CIS territory will be the focus of the meeting.
