First Deputy Minister of Defense, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Lieutenant General Edvard Asryan, on Monday received Indian Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia informs.

During the meeting, matters related to Armenia-India cooperation in the defense sector were discussed. And within the framework of a previously reached agreement, the parties exchanged a document defining a new format of cooperation between the general staffs of the armed forces of the two countries.

As reported earlier, Indian Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh on Sunday arrived in Armenia on an official visit.
