Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: After the fiasco, by and large, suffered in the parliamentary elections [on June 7], [PM] Nikol Pashinyan has decided to turn the [upcoming] LSG [i.e. local self-government] elections into a heated battle and register a victory in the communities at all costs.

And for this, first of all, it is necessary to own the best candidates in the communities to avoid facing such a sad fact in the upcoming [local] elections. For this purpose, according to some information, an assembly of provincial governors was held in the government.

Practically an ultimatum has been given to the regional little princes that they prepare from now for the [local] elections expected in the fall and elect good candidates at all costs. It was said [to them] that the losers will not be forgiven, and the provincial governors are the number one accountable for the elections, not to blame others for the defeat. Let us note that [local] elections are scheduled for more than 4 dozen large communities in the fall, the fate of some provincial governors essentially depends on their results.
