Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: The sessions of the 9th convocation of the parliament [i.e. the National Assembly (NA)], which started on August 2, will be extended until the end of the month. After the formation of NA standing committees, the parliament, according to the regulation law, must also examine the government program.

According to the Constitution, the prime minister is obligated to submit the government program to the parliament within 20 days after his appointment.

Nikol Pashinyan was appointed prime minister on August 2, so he must submit the government program [to the parliament] by August 22 and have it discussed.

According to some information, this fact is also a reason for the demonic behavior of the CC [i.e. Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract Party and its parliamentary faction] members towards the opposition. They have decided to catch the opposition’s fear, to make [them] smart before the discussion of the government program, so that Nikol Pashinyan can “feed” his program “to the dear people” in the most gentle and comfortable conditions.
