Hraparak daily of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: Defense Minister Suren Papikyan confirmed our news yesterday in his [social] post that high-ranking military personnel are being sent to the border, since the cases of deaths in the army in non-military conditions are unprecedentedly high, and the reason is that non-standard relations prevail in the [Armenian] army.

For example, soldiers “swear at each other” for sleeping in positions, after which arguments occur, which end with the death of a soldier. Soldiers are either driven to suicide or killed, and this is due to poor overseeing, poor command work.

We had written also that some high-ranking [officers] have already been sent to the border for 1-2 months to establish order and rules. Our source reports that this decision applies not only to military men, but also to women. High-ranking women [officers] may also be sent to [military] positions.
