YEREVAN. – According to rumors, capital city Yerevan’s former Mayor Gagik Beglaryan, who is tenth in the proportional list of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), could be offered the post of Transport and Communication Minister, Hayatsk daily writes.      

“This ministerial position was Orinats Yerkir [Rule of Law] Party’s, but the RPA reserved this ministry for itself after the [May 6 National Assembly] NA elections.    

Henaran.am attempted to clarify from Gagik Beglaryan as to whether he was offered the minister’s post; he advised to ask RPA Spokesperson [Eduard Sharmazanov].  

The latter explained that the Party had not discussed such matters. ‘The executive will have a session probably this week, and everything will become clear,’ Sharmazanov said,” Hayatsk writes.
