In order to make peace irreversible and lasting, it is necessary to stop in Armenia the talk about the return of Nagorno-Karabakh Armenians and the right of return of Armenian refugees from Azerbaijan, and in Azerbaijan the right of return of “Western Azerbaijan” and “Western Azerbaijanis,” and to put an end to these talks. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on Monday stated this at the National Assembly while presenting the upcoming five-year program of Armenia’s new government.
“This is an issue that needs to be addressed in both Armenia and Azerbaijan for the sake of the right of peaceful coexistence of our generations. Peace and peaceful coexistence of the peoples of Armenia and Azerbaijan is the right that we must materialize and pursue today, and we must be able to overcome any talk and action that contradicts this. We must stop looking for Armenia in Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan must stop looking for Azerbaijan in Armenia," Pashinyan added.
