The most important agricultural issue for Armenia’s Tavush region is the absence of anti-hail devices. Only during the last month it hailed 5 times in Tavush region. On May 12 the crops of the region were damaged from hail which last for around half an hour.
Even during the Soviet times Armenia’s Tavush region had only one anti-hail device and its bullets were used during the Karabakh war.
The residents of Tavush think that this year too they will not get any anti-hail devices.
