Ukraine will receive fewer missiles for the Patriot system in 2026, and they will still not be enough, said Kyrylo Budanov, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, local media report.

Budanov added that at present this is the only weapons system capable of effectively neutralizing ballistic missiles.

“I will not give figures because I do not want to give the adversary [i.e. Russia] an advantage or be unfair to our partners. However, I will say that in 2026, we [i.e. Ukraine] will receive less [Patriot missiles] than in 2025. Deliveries continue, they are regular, but they are not enough to withstand the pace of Russian attacks,” explained the head of the Ukrainian president's office.
