The Baku Slavic University (BSU) will start teaching Armenian. The respective decision was made by the university's academic council, BSU press secretary Sabina Huseynzade informed.

According to her, the study of Armenian is planned to continue at the university in the coming years, local media report.

But the exact timeframes for the start of Armenian classes have not yet been announced.

Earlier, BSU rector Anar Naghiyev had stated that the teaching of Armenian at the university was planned to start in the 2026/27 academic year.
