YEREVAN. – Macro-economic estimations for this year by the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA) correspond to the Government of Armenia, however, there are some points which differ anyway, Armenia’s Minister of Finance Vache Gabrielyan said at a Government session on Thursday having submitted for the discussion the project on the monetary policy of the CBA.

“Estimations on some industries do not change the whole image. We only fix the possible processes during the development of the inflation influence. Hence, call on the CBA to be flexible as previously and pass to the expansionary policy, in case of inflation influence intensifies,” Gabrielyan said.

To note, one of the differing points between the Government and the CBA refers to the construction field forecasts, with the CBA forecasting the increase by 3.5 – 5.5 percent, while the Government about 2.5.
