YEREVAN. – The State Conservatory is one of the major universities in Armenia, it has traditions, while applications to enter it are received also from abroad, Armenian Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan said during the briefing on Thursday.

He said that during his working visit to Iran his Iranian counterpart had expressed his gratitude to Ashotyan for several good universities, including the Conservatory.

According to Ashotyan, currently there are no plans on changes in state universities, or selling the buildings. In addition, Conservatories in all states function in separate buildings taking into account the peculiarities.
