Iran will continue to fulfill the terms of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding if the US returns to its obligations, said the president of the Islamic Republic, Masoud Pezeshkian.
"It is obvious that the violation of obligations by the US has met with a proportionate response from Iran. However, I clearly state: if the US returns to fulfilling its obligations under the aforementioned memorandum of understanding, the Islamic Republic of Iran will also immediately reciprocate," Pezeshkian said at the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of The Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
He added that, unlike the US, Iran has "an impeccable track record of fulfilling its international obligations and treaties and has always acted on the basis of the principles of international law."
