The issue of restoring the normal regime of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, which remains unresolved, harms all countries, Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) spokesperson Majed Mohammed Al-Ansari announced.

“The unresolved crisis in the Strait of Hormuz will lead to further escalation and harm everyone,” the Qatari MFA spokesperson said at a press conference in Doha.

Al-Ansari said that Qatar “continues to negotiate with Oman and Pakistan on measures to reduce tensions in the region.”

“We [i.e. Qatar] are working with our partners to achieve a peaceful solution and restore the normal regime of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz,” the Qatari MFA spokesperson added.
