The settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict can bring significant advantages to Armenia. Russian President Vladimir Putin stated this while answering reporters' questions in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit, TASS reports.
“Perhaps there are also some positives in this decision [i.e. the recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh as part of Azerbaijan] by Armenia's current leadership, because this situation allows one to turn the page and move forward without any conflicts, to settle people in new places of residence, to unblock infrastructure, to start a new life in the economy, to open borders for investments, and so on. In fact, there are quite a few positives,” the Russian president said.
