American scientists have created a mechanical arm robot which is controlled by the power of the mind.

As Dni.ru informs, a group of scientists from the Brown University led by John Donoghue conducted an experiment during which two paralyzed volunteers were able to drink coffee out of a bottle and move the cursor on the monitor. After several days of training the volunteers were even able to perform complex actions. They found and squeezed geofoam balls, moved the cursor on the computer screen and drank coffee out of a bottle.

Both volunteers experienced a stroke and lost the ability to manage all limbs and to speak.
