Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Ruben Rubinyan, on Monday received the ambassador of Switzerland to Armenia, Andrea Barbara Baumann.

First the ambassador congratulated Rubinyan on his election as speaker of the NA, and wished him success, the NA informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

At the ensuing meeting, the relations formed between Armenia and Switzerland and the need for their further strengthening were highlighted. The importance of developing interparliamentary ties was emphasized, too.

Matters regarding regional security and stability were discussed as well.
