Speaker of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Ruben Rubinyan, on Monday received the ambassador of Sweden to Armenia, Eva Sundquist.

First, Sundquist congratulated Rubinyan on his election as the speaker of the NA, wishing him fruitful work and success, the NA informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

Subsequently, the interlocutors touched upon the friendly relations established between Armenia and Sweden, emphasizing the importance of deepening bilateral cooperation and further developing existing ties.

Ruben Rubinyan and Eva Sundquist attached importance also to the expansion of cooperation and the intensification of interparliamentary contacts between the two countries.
