The newly appointed French ambassador to Armenia, Florian Escudié, presented his credentials to Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan.

The president congratulated the ambassador on his appointment and wished him success in his diplomatic mission, and emphasized the importance of further deepening the special relations between Armenia and France.

In turn, Ambassador Escudié thanked for the reception and good wishes, and he conveyed the greetings of French President Emmanuel Macron to the president of Armenia.

During their meeting, the agenda of the strategic partnership between Armenia and France, as well as its effective implementation and prospects for further development were discussed.

Also, they exchanged views on the bilateral agenda and some other matters of mutual interest.
