YEREVAN. – As of March 31, 2012, the actives of Armenia’s Central Bank (CBA) totaled to AMD 1 trillion 17 billion ($2.6 billion), the CBA report on Armenia’s Financial Situation states. In 12 months the actives decreased by AMD 84 billion.
The liabilities if the CBA also decreased from AMD 1.1 trillion to AMD 1.02 trillion. In total, 73 percent of the actives and 39 percent of the liabilities were denominated in foreign currency.
