Members of the opposition "Strong Armenia" Faction in the National Assembly have traveled by bus to “enclave” Tigranashen village.

And the Strong Armenia party posted a video from the bus on Facebook, where "Strong Armenia" MPs noted as follows one after another:

"We are going to Tigranashen, because Tigranashen is not just a territory.

We will talk not only about problems, but also about development programs.

Yes, there will be peace [with Azerbaijan], but not with unilateral concessions.

We want to show that peace can be achieved without concessions.

We have a development plan for Tigranashen—instead of handing [it] over [to Azerbaijan].

Guarantees must be demanded and not allow a situation to be created in the process of border delimitation, demarcation that there will be foreign—in particular, Azerbaijani—control on that road.

Our work is not only in the parliament, our main work is outside the parliament, and today we are going to Tigranashen with our colleagues to listen to the problems of our compatriots [living there], the issues raised, and we will do everything so that the voice of our compatriots living in every corner of Armenia is heard.

Tigranashen is a backbone between the south and the north; in fact, a settlement of strategic importance, and we cannot allow Tigranashen to become Azerbaijan.

Unlike the [ruling] CC [i.e. Civil Contract] party [of Armenia], we are not handing over our villages, but developing our villages.

The situation needs to be studied. And when talking about Tigranashen, there is need to speak not about problems, there is a need to speak about solutions and offer residents a development program to discuss the potential

The Tigranashen community can be a very interesting environment for gastro tourism.

Tigranashen is an Armenian village, we have a vision to develop Tigranashen, and we are going to explain to the citizens that they have been misled, their village is not subject to handover.

We aim to communicate with the people [there], understand their approach, and also present our approach—and our approach only about the positive."
