The current authorities of Armenia, led by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, did not in any way commemorate the fact that the fourth anniversary of the Azerbaijani aggression of September 2022 has passed.

Only in the National Assembly of Armenia, at the request of the opposition, did they honor—with a minute of silence—the casualties of that aggression.

On September 13, 2022, Azerbaijan launched a large-scale military aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia. On that day, Azerbaijani army units opened intense fire from artillery and large-caliber weapons on Armenian military positions and settlements in the direction of Goris, Kapan, Sotk, Jermuk, Artanish, and Ishkhanasar.

Also, the Azerbaijani armed forces used drones and launched positional advance operations in some directions.

As a result of these military operations on September 13-14, the Azerbaijani forces advanced in the directions of Armenia’s Nerkin Hand, Jermuk, and Vardenis settlements.

The official casualties of the Armenian side in these operation amounted to 224, and 293 others were wounded. Also, more than 20 Armenian servicemen were taken captive.
