The management of “TaTever” (“Wings of Tatev”) cableway in Armenia’s Syunik Region informed that the cable-car system has resumed its operations as of Saturday at 3pm.  

‘“TaTever’ is in excellent technical condition,” its director Tigran Ghazaryan stated. 

To note, the cableway’s operation systems were damaged because of lightning and thunderstorm, and as a result its operations were temporarily suspended. But owing to the efforts by local and Swiss specialists, “TaTever’s” operational and technical security systems were repaired in a short time period. 

The “TaTever” cable-car system is 5.7-km long, and its highest point is 330 meters above ground. “TaTever” is officially registered in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s longest passenger cableway.
