Azerbaijan and Turkey discussed the advancement of the peace process between Baku and Yerevan. The Azerbaijani foreign ministry noted about this in a statement, where it announced the results of the expanded meeting between the foreign ministers of the two countries, Jeyhun Bayramov and Hakan Fidan, held in Baku.
The ministers touched upon the progress made in the normalization process between Armenia and Azerbaijan over the past year, as well as practical steps aimed at establishing sustainable peace in the South Caucasus and developing regional cooperation.
Also, as per the statement, the two ministers reaffirmed that conflicts and military confrontations should be resolved through political and diplomatic means.
