NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen said the Alliance has no intention to intervene into Syria.  

“We are concerned about the developing situation in Syria, but we are not going to break into that country,” he said during the NATO summit in Chicago.

According to him, the best solution would be implementation of Kofi Annan’s project. Rasmussen said they regret that the Syrian government had not fulfilled the project of Kofi Annan and condemned violence of Syrian security forces against their people, Interfax reports.
