At least 15 people were killed and 50 others injured in a blast outside a mosque in Pakistan's northwestern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province during Friday prayers, Geo TV reports.

A suicide bomber drove a car packed with explosives into the gates of the Kohat Police Lines complex.

One of the walls of the mosque collapsed, and rescue workers are working at the scene.

The injured, including police officers, have been hospitalized. Several people are in critical condition.

After the blast, a gunfight broke out between police and terrorists near the mosque.

Then a second blast rocked the Special Branch building of the police.
