If the US launches new strikes, Iran will adopt a new defense strategy that will shock the whole world, said the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran.

“In the event of a new attack, our defense and counterattack will change significantly. These changes will include a different geographical scope of conflict and new weapons,” an IRGC spokesman said, Fars news agency reports.

“We will use new weapons with new capabilities, and the whole world will be shocked,” he stressed.

He noted that it is not the US, but Iran, that “determines the regional order.”

According to the spokesperson, the IRGC is “more than ready for a long conflict.”

Earlier, Iran’s central military command had announced that it had received information that the US was preparing to resume strikes on Iran, with the assistance of a number of countries in the region.
